Sony Ericsson W595 with a broken LCD screen.

Remove the back panel from the top slider, this is stuck down with double sided sticky tape.

Take care to avoid bending this metal plate.

Remove these two screws holding the top cover on.

Lift off the top cover to reveal the damaged LCD.

Unscrew the front keypad retaining screw.

Lift the front keypad PCB and lift the LCD ribbon cable retainer as shown.

Slide the LCD ribbon to the right to free it.

Install a new LCD and follow these steps in reverse to re-assemble.
