This is our version of how to replace the LCD screen in a Nokia N95 mobile phone. This procedure is fairly straightforward and can be carried out using a Torx T5 screwdriver and optionally an opening tool as shown.

Open the slider and remove this screw.

And remove this screw.
|
 |
Move the slider to the landscape positon.
|
 |
Turn over the phone and remove this screw.
|
 |
And this one too.
|
 |
Use the fascia removal shim to remove the LCD cover.
|
 |
Lift off the LCD front cover.
|
 |
Put the front cover aside.
|
 |
Remove the top keypad.
|
 |
Lift the keypad PCB.
|
 |
Lift the PCB catch gently to allow removal of the ribbon.
|
 |
Pull the ribbon cable toward the LCD to remove from the PCB slot.
|
 |
You're done! Put your replacement LCD in place and re-assemble.
